The process
The BRUSHmax 3.0 works with a brush through which an electric current is passed. The brush picks up a cleaning liquid and applies it to the areas to be cleaned.
The liquid is used to remove the iron oxide stains (tarnish) caused by welding as well as rust and other surface contamination.
The brush converts the electric current into high temperatures, especially at the ends of the bristles.
The liquid, which is relatively harmless at room temperature, is heated by the brush to temperatures at which it becomes much more reactive, resulting in an accelerated chemical action on the stainless steel surface.
Unlike pickling pastes, the active components of the cleaning fluid are not inherently harmful.
When used correctly, the liquids are non-toxic to the environment.
